BREAKING LEAGUE
POINT BREAKDOWN
The BFHHS Breaking League ranking points breakdown is a system designed to fairly reward participants based on their performance in breaking competitions. Here’s a breakdown of how the points are allocated:
1st Place (25 points): The winner of the competition receives the highest number of points, which is 25. This reflects the exceptional skill and performance required to secure the top spot.
2nd Place (12.5 points): The runner-up earns half the points of the winner, totaling 12.5 points. While not as high as the first place, this still acknowledges the significant achievement of reaching the final rounds and performing exceptionally well.
3rd Place (8 points): Participants who secure the third position are awarded 8 points. This recognizes their talent and dedication to the craft, though not as highly as the top two positions.
4th Place (7 points): Following closely behind the top three, the competitor in the fourth position receives 7 points. This acknowledges their skill and distinguishes them from other participants.
5th-8th Place (5 points): Participants who finish between 5th and 8th place receive 5 points each. This grouping recognizes their achievement in reaching the later stages of the competition.
9th-16th Place (3 points): Those who secure positions between 9th and 16th place are awarded 3 points each. This acknowledges their participation and moderate success in the competition.
17th-32nd Place (1.5 points): Participants in the lower rankings, between 17th and 32nd place, receive 1.5 points each. This reflects their effort and contribution to the event.
33rd Place and After (0.5 points): For participants who rank beyond 33rd place, there are still some points awarded, albeit fewer. They receive 0.5 points each, recognizing their participation and ensuring that every effort is acknowledged.
This points breakdown ensures that all participants are recognized for their efforts, with higher rewards for those who perform exceptionally well and decreasing rewards for lower rankings while still acknowledging participation. It also incentivizes competitors to strive for higher positions in order to earn more points and improve their overall ranking in the BFHHS Breaking League.
