My name is Anisse Ikmal,I am 27 years old. Owner and Ceo of Island Creative and I am part of the second generation of  bboying in my country

I am from the Indian Ocean Islands, precisely from Comoros islands

I have been breaking since 2004 with the BBOYZCREW from Anjouan island but before that I was an all styles dancer

In 2007 we hosted the first ever made HIPHOP event in Comoros Called COMORES HIP HOP DAYS with different disciplines(bboying graffiti djeeing and MC) which i have participated as bboy, and then i have carrying on hosting small jams and also other editions of COMORES HIP HOP DAYS like the second and the third one.

In 2012 i have moved to South Africa precisely in Durban where i firstly got in touched with some hip hop dancers from there and they hook me up with some bboys .

From then i have been part of the Durban BBoys and the LIL RASKALZ crew, jamming through gigs, event,Redbull jams and sessions.i was part of the BREAK THRU Company dancers which we have created the show AFRICAN HEART in 2017,First THURSDAY at Florida Road in DURBAN.

i have created Island Creative on 2014 officially announced in 2015 with lot of prospective to help the dancing scene in general.i then created the SUNDAY ALL STYLES DANCE SESSION in 2015

  • Inspire the next generation
  • Create mutual respect between all different dance styles
  • Help the dance scene in Durban to grow
  • Exchange knowledge & ideas
  • Inspire dancers to love what they do and not do it for money only
  • Open international opportunities for the dancers
  • Create big jams in the future
  • Expose the dance culture to the community
  • Give love and affection to those in need through dance

Moved back to COMOROS in 2018 i started creating events and initiating new crew, dancers and most importantly new artist.

event as such as AFRICAN HEART ISLAND BEAT 2018, FOIRE MADE In COMOROS 2018 ect.....still preparing other events for the future.

Respect peace and unity should be our first propaganda…as soon as you respect yourself you will eventually respect your next. Remember this is a unique culture that brings people from different background, racial, religion & communities together…so let’s respect what our eldest fought for and what they have left for us. Keep it original don’t focus on money and fame as you will lose the passion because “this is not what we do but who we are”
